Platja de Es Trenc is 6.5 km from the Colònia de Sant Jordi. This beach is the last great undeveloped and well-preserved Majorca´s arenal. It is a paradisiacal landscape about 3 km long, one of the most concurred virgin spaces of the island. Es Trenc has a dune system that separates the beach from the salt mines and the cultivation fields. Its open waters are transparent. The seabed is of sand, seaweed and some and there is also a small area of stones. Boats can anchor in the old pier of S'illa Gavina, which is the largest islet in the municipality of Campos.It retains a prehistoric cave also used by smugglers many years ago.
